Center for Career Development

The Moscow Financial and Law University Career Center is focused on providing comprehensive support and assistance to the university’s students and graduates in finding employment in today’s job market. The main objective of the center is to help graduates in finding worthwhile employment in line with their field of study through the organization of sustainable partnerships with businesses and employers and promoting the quality of professional training of specialists in accordance with the requirements of employers.

The Center of Career Development provides a support system and professional network for students, to build the foundations for their career and gain real world experience in their field of study. The careers team at MFUA assists students in finding work placements, volunteering opportunities and internships that enrich students’ professional experience and industry connections. These work placements are arranged through the university to assure a safe, secure and credible work environment with fair compensation for working students. MFUA takes pride in that the many students who participate in these work initiatives are hired upon graduation.

While providing direct assistance to students in finding work placements and paid internships, the MFUA Center for Career Development also strongly encourages independence and innovation. MFUA offers various programs to foster personal development in students, cultivate an entrepreneurial work ethic, and create opportunities in any field of work. This professional skill set is developed through the various career programs offered by MFUA, to help students reach their personal and professional goals. These initiatives include:

  • Resume writing workshops
  • Career coaching, in a group setting or one-one to accommodate individual needs
  • Various seminars to prepare students for life beyond university
  • Career advice specific to their field of study
  • Lectures from industry professionals
  • Lessons ranging from workplace etiquette to practice interviews
  • Organizational such as job fairs, career days, presentation of enterprises and organization of employers
