On January 24 The delegation from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation, headed by Professor Hadi Goudarzi, Science Adviser at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation, representative of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited MFUA.

The focus of the visit of the delegation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to MFUA was to get acquainted with the University, as well as to discuss areas of cooperation between the University and universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.  

The University delegation, led by the President of the University, Oleg Zabelin, had talks with their Iranian colleagues and outlined the prospects for partnership in the field of education and the organization of joint projects with educational organizations in Iran.

After the negotiations, the guests were given a tour of the university, during which they got acquainted with the history of the university, and also visited the educational museum and exhibition complex "Science, Technology, Art" and the "Naukograd".

Cooperation between MFUA and universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of education and science will allow educational institutions of the two countries to organize the exchange of students and teachers, implement joint educational, scientific and cultural projects and events.

Taking into account that the leaders of both countries recently signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation (January 17, 2025), the visit of the delegation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation to the MFUA was a significant step towards further cooperation, opening up new horizons for students and university professors of the two countries.
